About Meridian Explorer Configurator

Meridian Explorer Configurator is a part of the Explorer client web application. It is used by system administrators to create and edit repository views. These views are available in the client application for users to find and view repository content. Each set of repository views includes one configuration. Meridian Explorer Configurator can import, export, deploy, document, and revert to different configurations.

A repository configuration defines the structure of the various ways that the repository content is displayed by the website. The configuration is static, but is configurable in the Meridian Explorer Configurator. Unlike Meridian Enterprise Configurator, when you change the Meridian Explorer configuration, you must deploy it to the website before your changes are reflected by the website.
